Our Heart & Our Why
A Note from Pastor Corinne Pulliam
"Hello, I'm Corinne Pulliam. My entire ministry exists for one simple, radical reason: to be a living reminder that you are a beloved child of God, welcome exactly as you are.
I know the pain of being told you don't belong. My calling is to end that feeling for others. So many are told they must change, hide, or perform to be accepted in faith spaces or when planning a life celebration. Here, you never will.
Coffee & Christ is your safe harbor to explore, question, and find community.
Our Promise to You:
What Makes This Different
This is our covenant with you. It’s our commitment to how we treat every person who walks through the door.
-
Radical Inclusion: We actively, proudly, and affirmingly welcome our LGBTQ+ siblings. Your identity is a sacred gift from God, never a barrier to grace.
-
What this looks like: We use correct pronouns without question. Your relationship is celebrated. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for any discrimination.
-
-
Grace, Not Judgment: You will be met with compassion and curiosity, not condemnation. Your questions, your doubts, and your story are safe here.
-
What this looks like: If you share anger at the church or doubts about faith, you'll receive a listening ear, not a lecture. Your struggles are met with support, not solutions.
-
-
Your Journey is Sacred: We are here to walk with you, not to tell you what to think. Your spiritual path is your own.
-
What this looks like: There is no test to pass and no doctrine you must agree to. We explore life's big questions together, offering different perspectives, not single answers.
-
-
A Confidence Kept: What is shared in our space remains here. This is a sanctuary of trust.
-
What this looks like: Stories shared on Sunday morning are never the topic of conversation later. What you share is held in the strictest confidence.
-
