The Full Story

Our Ministries: One Mission, Inclusive Love

Welcome to the heart of our work. Every service we offer, from a simple cup of coffee on Sunday to the most elaborate wedding celebration, is built on one radical, joyful belief: you are a beloved child of God, welcome exactly as you are. Many people feel they must change, hide, or perform to be accepted in faith-based spaces or when planning a life celebration. Here, you never will. We are dedicated to creating safe, authentic, and joyful experiences that honor your unique journey, your questions, and your love. Our mission is to be a living testament to inclusive love, providing a continuum of care that meets you where you are and walks with you toward where you're called to be.

Coffee & Christ: A Safe Harbor for the Spirit

Coffee & Christ is a refuge and a respite, specifically designed for those who have been marginalized, hurt, or simply left behind by traditional religious institutions. We meet every Sunday from 10-11 AM at The B&G Spot in Sunbury, PA. The environment is intentionally casual and intimate, with group sizes typically between 2-6 people to ensure everyone has a voice.

What a Typical Sunday Looks Like:

  1. Welcome & Coffee: You're greeted with a warm smile, a fresh cup of coffee, and a snack. There is no cost, ever.

  2. Check-in: We begin with a simple, low-pressure question, such as "What's one word for how you're feeling today?" or "What's something you're grateful for this week?" Participation is always optional.

  3. Guided Open Discussion: Pastor Corinne may introduce a short spiritual reading, a verse, or a theme (e.g., grace, forgiveness, or hope in difficult times). The conversation is never a lecture; it is a dialogue driven by the group's curiosity, questions, and needs.

  4. Confidential Community: What is shared in the group stays in the group. This is a sacred rule of trust.

Explanations: This ministry exists because spiritual exploration should not be a solitary or frightening journey. It answers the critical question: "Where can I go with my doubts, my identity, and my questions without being rejected?" The "Christ" in Coffee & Christ represents the unconditional, liberating love taught by Jesus, stripped of the dogma and exclusion often practiced in his name.

Examples of similar stories:

Alex, a transgender man, had not set foot in a church in a decade due to past trauma. He found a program called Coffee & Christ online, and he contacted their pastor nervously, only to be met at the door. He now attends weekly, stating, "For the first time, I can talk about God without someone trying to debate my existence. I can just be."

Maria and Ben, a couple "deconstructing" their evangelical faith, were struggling with the guilt of asking questions. At a program similar to Coffee & Christ, they found others on similar paths. The group became a vital source of support as they rebuilt their spirituality on a foundation of love, not fear.

Sarah, recently divorced and feeling spiritually adrift, came because she missed community but couldn't handle a traditional church service. She found a non-judgmental space to express her grief and anger and slowly began to reconnect with a God of compassion.

Inclusive Marriage Moments: Your Love, Celebrated

Get to Know Us: Full Service Personal Partnership

Inclusive Marriage Moments is a full-service professional partnership for couples. It is built on the understanding that your wedding is not about performing for guests but about authentically celebrating your unique bond. Services are tailored through a detailed initial consultation and include:

  • Officiation: Co-creating a completely personalized ceremony script that reflects your values, beliefs, and story.

  • Premarital Counseling: Sessions focused on building healthy communication, conflict resolution, and setting realistic expectations for marriage, using inclusive and affirming tools.

  • Wedding Planning & Coordination: "Day-of" coordination to manage logistics and vendors, ensuring a stress-free experience.

  • Travel Planning: Utilizing Positive Peer Traveling expertise to plan and book your honeymoon and anniversary trips.

Explanations: This ministry operates on the principle that all love is sacred and worthy of celebration. It directly confronts the discrimination many couples face when seeking a celebrant. Pastor Corinne's credentials as an ordained minister and professional travel agent allow her to offer a truly holistic service, seamlessly guiding a couple from the spiritual commitment of their ceremony to the joyful celebration of their honeymoon.

The Connection:

A Seamless Journey of Support

The profound connection between these ministries is our "Continuum of Care." Coffee & Christ is the open door—the place where individuals find safety and authenticity. Inclusive Marriage Moments is the natural next step when that foundation of safety leads to a celebration of love. This eliminates the terrifying prospect of a couple having to "shop" for an officiant and risk encountering discrimination, judgment, or simply a lack of understanding. They can move forward with a trusted guide who already knows and cherishes them.

Example:

  • The journey of Alex (from the first example) and his partner Leo. After finding community and spiritual acceptance at their program for a year, Alex and Leo decided to get married. There was no search for an officiant. They asked the pastor, who had already celebrated their entire journey. The ceremony was deeply personal, incorporating elements of their shared story. Their wedding was not a transaction with a stranger but a celebration with their pastor and their community.

A Personal Note from Pastor Corinne

"My entire calling is to be a mirror, held up to show people the incredible love God has for them, precisely as they are. Whether we are sharing a vulnerable story over coffee on a Sunday or I'm standing with you as you exchange vows, my goal is singular: for you to feel deeply seen, unconditionally valued, and joyfully celebrated.

These ministries are how I live out Christ's command to 'love one another'—all of our neighbors. It is not just my job; it is the most incredible privilege of my life to be a safe harbor and a celebrant for your journey."
